Thoughts on Brexit (IMHO):
I don't think the Brexit supporters/ British public expected this result
It has some merits but more disadvantages
The paper money loss over the few days could have paid (on paper again) for the EU membership for at-least 25-50 years
I'm not sure if they can stop/slow immigration (legal/illegal/asylum/refugees) with this exit.
Without helping the poorer/unstable EU countries, the entire EU has a risk of falling down with them
IMHO, this is a stupid vote and poor result. They could have all sit together and come up with a new/different plan.
But the good news is it creates a buying opportunity. Please share your opinion too.

Some really great buys and nice to see that the panic selling didn't scare you off from putting new money to work. I like a few of your new pick ups including WFC, FLO, GILD and ABT. WFC is a July stock consideration of mine along with ABT too. GILD has been on my watch list for some time along with AMGN. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments. I still have ammo for 1 more small purchase. I really like JPM and may still get that if it goes lower. Not decided which one to go for.
